life as a resident
Finally after a week of hectic schedule I got a free sunday to relax a bit, sleep a more and loosen up the muscles for while. Three operatons in a week with two subsequent 5 hr assist was a tiresome job. MVD operations for Trigeminal neuralgia used to be maximum 2 hr operation but this week it was for 5 hrs each both one with anamolous unnamed compressing artery and the other complete anatomically challenging scenario. Plus point of this week one Crutzfield traction and one VP shunting . Wow ! little bit of neurosurgical skills gained still long way to go .
Confusion of this week I should say was still the approach to brain tumor. No worries I will find it out. Lots of MRI scans to study for this weekend plus neurology chapters to cover
